I can respect that.. I guess I didn't grow up in California and my family and another set offriends don't live here.. So, given many great alternatives, I bowed out a while ago .. I fought.. definitely fought while i lived here.. tried to get friends informed, townhalls, petitions .. fought tax increases/had local discussions w/ business minded folks.. etc .. Did this also regarding our screwed up Federal govt... but after much time invested and detracted away from enhancing my own personal life .. and getting spit on for trying to inform people I gave up..

I haven't given up. As a citizen of California, I get up every morning and try to effect the change I want for a positive outcome in the future. I vote depending on the issue at hand.
Rather than throw out partisan remarks and assuming that I am in favor of socialism on an Internet forum, which is hardly an accurate description of our state, why not spend more of your energy getting out there and voicing your concerns to your elected officials.
