Anyway, you can worry yourself into that hole you are digging all you want. There's no collapse in sight, just as Dean Trails has also mentioned. The clusterf**k that you are witnessing is an ongoing pageant of financial and egotistical self-aggrandizement and illusionary power-manipulation ... the pageant has been playing since the advent of agriculture. It never actually changes much at all. Meanwhile, I am sailing and lounging in the tropics on the government teat, thank you very much.
The people of Italy, Ireland, Portugal, Greece and the rest of EU countries in trouble said the same think just a few years ago. Their governments and mainstream media said everything was ok, not to worry ... all the way to the end ... and they still say it just to help reduce the mass riots.

That is utterly false. Even China, your so called "Communist State" has thousands of privately owned companys. and All of the worlds advanced industrial socialist countries have millions of privately owned companies.

Again you need to pull your head out of 1954 McCarthyism.

Your privately owned company exists on taxpayer money... therefore you are socialist.

Look at some of the people on this thread ... they actually think they want the change to socialism.
Okay, list them..

Funnything, the rightwing whackos said Medicare would make this country socialist, 50 years ago. Their tune never changes.

I'm curious about your track record on economic forecasting. Did you anticipate the collapse of 2008? Because the only people I knew who actually had the stones to call BS at that time were my filthy fellow travelers, many of whom had worked in mortgage industry. Every self-described conservative/libertarian had long since shifted into "debt is the American way" mode. Of course, they were probably distracted by all their desperate scrambling for news confirming the existence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.

China Inc.

Communist leaders have ordered state-owned companies to buy up private rivals, causing some foreign investors and trade groups to cry foul.

I was aware of the housing bubble and that it had to burst ... that's why I sold my house back then and shed all of my debt. Back then I was not that interested in the economy or politics. But when I started to see things happening that did not make sense ... thinks that didn't add up ... I started to research it. The more I research the more I realize what's really going on.

Actually funny Don ... now that you have educated yourself as to the nefarious workings of the rich and powerful sociopaths who have always run the world (since the advent of agriculture, as I always point out), what are you going to do about it? What is anyone going to do about it? And what makes you think those snarky, sneaky basta*ds are going to let the world go into a state of chaos and spoil their game?

Their game is based on illusion. And they are VERY good at it. And you think their illusion will fail them at some point because why? Because all of a sudden humanity will become enlightened to the reality? If history has anything to teach us all it is this: that the masses will never learn, nor will they care if they did learn. As long as the illusion approximately works -- and it does apparently -- been going on for thousands of years -- very few people give a hoot. All at once now, in your lifetime, your prescience will be replicated across the lands -- in part, no doubt, because our heroic Don9, has picked up the lance of truth and gone jousting windmills.

You can't even make sensible, logical arguments or presentation of facts on an internet forum. You can't define the simplest political realities or social systems. You can't ---- aw, fuggitaboutit.

Emboldened for truth. If political history stands for anything, it's that humans would much rather kiss up and kick down than deal with that sociopathic class among us. This fear perpetuates our political kabuki, so we get to keep hammering away at religious, ethnic and racial minorities. In polite society, however, it is more proper to blame the political minorities, like the socialists/trade unionists hiding under our beds. Wash, rinse, repeat.
