I happen to know where they come from. It is rarely through the ranks and not less then two years. The average nationwide at the same location is under 6 months.

You are talking about the supreme dead end job when you decide on Call Center work.

Many people don't have a choice. They take whatever job they can get to make ends meet.

it was either the call center or 20hrs a week part time in retail...

Didn't say they had a choice. I wa surprised to find out Union Grocery Clerks were only making from minimum wage to $15.00 or there abouts.

And you're not going to be making ends meet on Call Center wages. That is why so many of them roommate instead of having their own place, and rarely are they good situations. Apartments full of unrelated individuals who can only get starvation wage work, barely putting food in the cupboard and borrowing of each other to make ends meet.

Like I said. Dead End Job. Judge Judy is full of them. They all owe each other for Rent, Cell Phones, Car Loans, and Utilities or Deposits, and stolen food, furniture, and clothes.
