Not too sure about that one, I think Malone was much broader and ripped. Funny thing with Lebron is from what I've read, he doesn't have a strict workout regime.

No....he is bigger and stronger but Michael was damn near a ballerina out there with hand control no one can match...I mean look at the difference in videos, Lebron is overpowering (though nimble for a person his size) and Mike was like a cat out there.....

Can Lebron avg 20 PPG at 40 and hit over 40 points at 40 years of age? Lebron also hasn't really made anyone around him better the way Mike did.

The way Jordan was getting up and down the court at age 21 is very impressive.
If you measure athletic ability in terms of size, speed, strength and quickness. Then yes, Lebron is the better overall athlete. In fact Lebron may the most physically gifted individual every to play in the NBA.

Please, Jordan didn't make anybody better, he just carried them on his back.

It's a testament to his ability that he was able to literally carry the Chicago Bulls to six championships.

I'd break it down this way:

In favor of Lebron:

End to end speed
Size and strength

In favor of Jordan:

Quickness
Ability to change directions on the fly
Jumping. Lebron is an outstanding one-legged leaper, Jordan can explode off one or both legs.
In-air co-ordination
Reflexes

What's remarkable about Lebron is those gifts at his size. That factor is probably what makes him the most unique perimeter player in terms of athleticism.
