Alot of the cop car chargers are actually the 3.5L 6 cylinders, which is what I have, they have quite a bit of pep (250HP). But I'm with the others in the old school, I don't consider anything coming out today as true muscle. Unfortunatly the closest I ever got to classic muscle was a '72 Gran Torino with a 351C.

I like the old school looks but the new suspension is to die for. Grew up in Downey California and Friday nights were just like American Graffitti. Hot August Nights in Reno sure brings back some grand ole memories. Currently have 67 Camaro with Art Morrison suspension under it, so much nicer than the 69 Camaro I had 35 years ago, however wish I still had that one.

If I had to guess from the picture... you were eastbound on 64 through St. Charles... right at about 4th Street, just about to pass Lincoln Park.

Don't tell that to the Australians

Their muscle cars were things like Holden Monaro 350's, Chrysler Valiant Pacer 265 'Hemi' Sixes and Ford Falcons with 351 Clevelands--------mostly 4 door sedans

283 was a factory option for the 1957 'mads......replacing the 265 Eight

A good example to show how much better the '68-'70 Chargers looked (a 1970 in this photo):
