I am betting that Reader's Digest would not review the place if what some people on here were saying.

Austin Chronicle also gives it good reviews. JC must have a real problem with Hutto Schools. I guess he/she has a kid in the ESL program that's not a cheerleader or Football star. I totally disagree with everything in that post, except for the special needs program. It is lacking to nonexistant. I disagree on the football/cheerleader thing, sounds like a personal issue. The ESL program is what? Two years old? There has been a lot of growth in the area, and until recently with all the construction, not too many non english speaking hispanics. I know several teachers personally, and lots of teens from my church, and parents with kids in the schools and really don't hear about all these types of troubles. Sure problems exist, but what school has zero problems really? Just a month ago, one of the moms in our playgroup said her kids school in RR had issues in the cafeteria with the smaller kids (kindergarten, grade school) serving themselves in the cafeteria and being rushed and fussed at if they didn't go through the line fast enough, which resulted in a number of kids getting frustrated and not eating. That doesn't mean I'm gonna go around and start lambasting RR schools and say how the entire system is broken. By the way, I spoke to the Superintendant, and he said that they are trying to hire more ESL teachers as the program is expanding pretty quickly.
