Same article comes out every other month but where is the article about the people dying in the suburbs and rural areas from meth, heroin, prescription pills, etc?

http://quickfacts.census.gov/qfd/states/13/13089.html
DeKalb: 3,257 and 3,983

Dekalb female population: approximately 350k

Approximately 175k of those are black women

So 3,983 out of 175,000 have HIV. Not bad at all compared to all the people overdosing in the suburbs on prescription pills

Interesting that the source of the article (11Alive News) put this under Kirkwood/Edgewood news. WTF? The data was collected from health departments in Clayton, Fulton, DeKalb, Cobb, Douglas and Gwinnett counties.

I think so because I do not see any articles posted every other month about the gays in certain cities with HIV. I haven't seen any articles posted every other month about all the people dying from meth, heroin or prescription pills in rural areas. If they want an article on people dying, don't just pick one demographic of people, do several articles about different topics (HIV, prescription pill deaths, heroin overdose deaths, etc)

People are dying left and right from prescription drugs but nobody is making articles about this problem

yeah but thats an online thread post.

is it the same person every month doing this ? I have no idea ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

this is the first I've seen this kind of thread here but admittedly am a new member on here.

but in reality like there are full blown tv series on many channels about drug use and stuff. most people shown are suburban white folk.

Let's not suger coat things about this news. Black women with HIV are being infected because their partners are on the "down low" meaning they are black bisexual men who don't use protection when they hook up with guys.

No. Gay white men and black women across the world have hiv because they choose not to wear a condom even though they know hiv is spreading
