Well I'm new and just wanted to ask :P

Do you guys think we would get any aircraft (commercial) larger than the 757 to Atlanta? I know we have a A300 to to Louisville UPS, but yea, I know there is a thread similar, I just wanted to see if anything has changed, the economy is getting better, (I think, I'm a kid :P ) and we did have a couple international flights, so yea, do you think so?

And do you even think we could get our Puerto Vallarta Flight back?

And lasty (sorry) when do you think this would happen? http://www.cabq.gov/airport/documents/MP_Summary1.pdf (PAGE 29)

Just wondering

I heard TWA once flew L-1011s into ABQ. As for any aircraft larger than Delta's 757-200s, I don't see it happening anytime soon. However, I think that during the Balloon Fiesta, Delta could easily fill a 757-300 (a lengthened version of the 757-200) if they were to fly them to ABQ.

Mid-week, non holiday flights are always packed to and from Albuquerque. If Delta can't fly in a bigger plane then they need to add a flight. It's ridiculous. When Northwest existed, the flights were only packed on weekends and near the holidays.

That may have been when Northwest existed, but they merged with Delta about six months ago? It's all about business. I think Delta knows what will or will not work for them.

I think it would just be much better, now that NWA and Delta are together they get a 767 over during peak season, and since UA and Continental are merging, they get a 757 one of those, although, if that happens for the LAX flight, that wont be good, I recently came back on one of those and there were like what? 20 people on the whole flight? but yea, IAH-ABQ is full, same to ORD and I dont know about Dulles or Denver. But yea, ABQ is growing, and Rio Rancho is Boasting, and it'd be kinda nice to have the O'hare, Midway approach here, The Sunport would be like O'Hare, and say Double Eagle would be Midway? Unlikey, but cool

We also need a over seas flight!! I bet a ton would take something to Honolulu, I can just see Southwest having a 6:30AM flight right now.

I think the Sunport is fine as is. Big enough, but not too big. Airlines will fly larger jets into Albuquerque when larger jets are necessary.
