Went for a hike in Keystone Canyon this afternoon.

Not much snow on the south end


A bit more further on. Had to put on my gaiters at one point and shortly after that it was nearly up to my knees.

Bridalveil Falls is nearly frozen.

Good lord that is unbelievable. I mean, you just get to see that on your morning walk! We've got mountains that I see on my morning walk here, but they aren't huge and spiky and completely white like that. Those look like GIGANTIC rocks. Those Alaskan mountains with absolutely no trees on them are a really a sight to see. Valdez looks like a hell of a town to live in.
