Inspection conducted for facility renewal and for complaint filed on 2-6-16. Complaint addressed noncritical violations. EHS will contact complainant and address her concern for floor cleanliness and food being frozen in deli and cold buffet.
- Physical Facilities - Cleaning Frequency and Restrictions
Observation: Floor in the produce area has black marks from moving of equipment.
Correction: All floors, walls, and ceilings must be cleaned as often as necessary to keep them clean. Cleaning of the physical facilities is an important measure in ensuring the protection and sanitary preparation of food. A regular cleaning schedule should be established and followed to maintain the facility in a clean and sanitary manner. PIC has submitted work order to strip, clean and wax the floor.

- Equipment - Good Repair and Proper Adjustment
Observation: Cabinet door under the sink in the coffee shop was observed in a state of disrepair.
Correction: Repair the cabinet door to restore it to a condition that allows for proper operation, accuracy, functioning, maintenance, and cleanability per Part IV, Article 1 and 2 of this chapter. A work order is in to repair the cabinet door.

Observation: Plumbing connections under the floor in the coffee shop are leaking.
Correction: Plumbing systems and components shall be maintained in good repair: a work order is in to repair the pipe.

- Mops - Drying Mops
Observation: Mops not hung up to air dry.
Correction: Wet use maintenance items such as mops must be hung in a position that allows them to air dry so they are not allowed to grow contamination which can then be spread through the establishment at the next use.
