It's kind of a "southern" thing. Their furthest west location is apparently Arizona. I tried it. Imagine a smaller Denny's. Food was reasonably priced, and reasonably tasted alright. Certainly not a gourmet breakfast, but does the trick.

Define “attack”, I asked you to lighten up when you got on your high horse about my In-n-Out comment. I have no problem but a decent cheeseburger, or any decent food, would be a miracle in this state. I’m done, enjoy.

Waffle House in this state would be a blessing.

I’d import three or four handymen who would come over shortly after I called, give reasonable bids for the job, then start the following week. Oh yes, and they would smile. Instead of a surly look, how hard is it to stretch your lips? The guys who put in flooring when we first moved here, laughed and talked. They weren’t from here though, they were Russian.

My spouse refuses to deal with the attitude and the price, so we do most everything ourselves. Still, it would be nice to have friendly, decent priced services if you need them. A guy who came by and hauled a load of trash was friendly, he also lived in CA and TX, like we used to, so we had a chat. He also noticed the the surliness that’s common to the area. With masks, you don’t notice it and maybe that’s a good thing.

That's a very good idea. I want that as well.

Half the comments on this thread are about burgers. Many posters chimed in. How did it become all about you and your comment?
