That's fair. Just saying, The fact that WA is blue didn't keep me from moving back here last fall. Quality of life matters waaay more, especially being retired.
Escaping wacko blue Oregon mattered greatly, though. At least WA covers it up better. So in my situation, I'm pretty isolated from anything the WA lawmakers want to do. I just don't care about WA politics. I don't even watch Seattle news or read their papers.
But I'll debate national politics all day. :-)

Umm where do you think quality of life comes from? You're welcome to relocate to Alabama, Mississippi and all the uneducated Red low quality of life states. With Washington you have a much more educated populace and the state cares about the environment and promoting good business. Why is Washington always ranked in the Top 5 economies?
