Short answer: No! Salvation does NOT depend on anything we believe or do not believe about Jesus. In fact, salvation has nothing to do with us. Jesus BECAME ONE OF US and that achieved salvation for ALL of us. It is finished. That is why HIS BIRTH was the "Good Tidings of Great Joy to ALL People." (NOT any "precepts and doctrines of men" about Him) If we just believe Jesus and His DEMONSTRATION of God's Holy Spirit of agape love and forgiveness on the Cross, we will avoid any concerns about spiritual consequences from God (punishments, rewards, or whatnot).
Any spiritual consequences we face will depend entirely on what we are BECOMING as Spirits, NOT any rewards or punishments from God. If we follow Jesus's instructions to love God and each other every day and repent when we fail, we will have nothing to fear or be concerned about..The Godfather-like dogma of belief in what we tell you ABO?UT Jesus and God OR ELSE is of human origin and has nothing to do with our Father God or Jesus, IMO.

Why do you even call him Jesus if it doesn't matter?
Why do you even call him Jesus if it doesn't matter?
Silly question. That is His name (actually it is probably Yeshua). The important fact TO ME is that His consciousness exactly matches the consciousness of God I encountered. That makes His claim credible TO ME that when we see Him we see the Father! YMMV.

Isn’t this contradictory?
In the first paragraph you link human salvation to having a certain belief and you are thru - a red carpet cosmic welcome is awaiting.
But in the second section - you take a 180 turn and link salvation to works ?
Also what happens to 100 and millions of ordinary people who lived and died before the birth of Jesus? They were not prophets or Holy men - they were just ordinary people - they NEVER heard of Jesus and left the scene before Jesus’ “BIRTH” happened that, an incident that you seem to be occupied with?

How do you know that? Because you have a feeling that it was him? Why did you believe it? What validated your feelings?
And why does it matter if you say that what we believe doesn't matter?

I tell you what the problem is;
When you start an OP by asking a question and replying to it by yourself to explain a religious philosophy, then it indicates to me that you are not satisfied by it yourself.
Somewhere in your subconscious, it keeps telling you that it doesn’t make sense and it’s not true.
But to get a false sense of self assurance, the person displays such behavior - ask a question and reply to it (based on your FEELINGS and not any reference from the scriptures) by himself without anyone else inquiring about it.
Your subconscious already knows this philosophy of Jesus BIRTH and EVERYONE getting an out, doesn’t make sense - simply because it’s not true.

You seem to have a problem with reading comprehension. The phrase "salvation has nothing to do with us" says it all. What about "nothing" do you not comprehend? Following Jesus is not about salvation because He took care of that for us. It is about what kind of Spirit you are becoming because that will determine what you face as a "Saved Spirit" after death, period.
