If you're referring to eternal salvation from the penalty of sin, no. Emphatically not. Eternal salvation is and has always been by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.
Eph. 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9] not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.
Titus 3:5 He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,

Your right that grace has been the book since the old time and new time today.
Grace only never been the book or why animals for sin ?
Grace only never been the book or why Romans 6:1 ?
Ephesians 2:8 is the cross today vs. animals before
Never about grace only the whole time

Tony, no one was ever saved by anything other than by grace through faith in Christ. No one was ever saved by the works of the Law, including animal sacrifices. The animal sacrifices were merely types or pictures of the future sacrifice of Christ on the cross. As already shown, Abraham (who lived before the Mosaic Law was given) was justified and therefore eternally saved on the basis of faith. Not on the basis of works (Romans 4:1-5). The same is true of David (Romans 4:6). Now, after having been justified and therefore eternally saved on the basis of faith alone, Abraham's faith grew as he matured spiritually, and his faith was brought to full development when many years later he was willing to sacrifice Isaac (Genesis chapter 22; James 2:21-23), but he had long since been eternally saved on the basis of grace through faith alone.
You ask, ''Why Romans 6:1?'' Paul asks the rhetorical question, ''Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase?'' And of course he answers his own question with an emphatic ''may it never be.'' Paul was saying that grace is not a license to sin. Having stated that justification comes by grace through faith (Romans 5:1-2), and that an increase in sin is met by an increase in grace (Romans 5:20), Paul than denied that grace was a license to sin.
But the believer's eternal salvation is never in jeopardy because of his sins, no matter how much he may sin, because sin is met by grace, and on the cross Jesus paid the penalty for any sin the believer will ever commit (John 1:29; 1Corinthians 15:1-4; 1 Peter 2:24).
Eternal salvation has always been on the basis of grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. Not on the basis of works, obedience, commitment, or anything else. Those things - works, obedience, commitment, belong to the believer's spiritual life after having been eternally saved by grace through faith in Christ Jesus, but are never the means of obtaining eternal salvation.
