Can you explain the bolded? Who was his elder brother?
Immanuel of Salvington—the Union of Days assigned to the local universe of Nebadon. In a certain sense this high Trinity Son is also the personal representative of the Universal Father to the court of the Creator Son; hence his name, Immanuel.
33:5.2 (370.7) Immanuel of Salvington, number 611,121 of the sixth order of Supreme Trinity Personalities, is a being of sublime dignity and of such superb condescension that he refuses the worship and adoration of all living creatures. He bears the distinction of being the only personality in all Nebadon who has never acknowledged subordination to his brother Michael. He functions as adviser to the Sovereign Son but gives counsel only on request. In the absence of the Creator Son he might preside over any high universe council but would not otherwise participate in the executive affairs of the universe except as requested.

30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
John 3
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 6:29 Jesus replied, "The work of God is this: to believe in the One He has sent."
No, it doesn't. There is nothing in that verse that tells you WHAT to believe ABOUT Jesus. It says to believe ON Him which means rely on Him for your salvation, NOT what "precepts and doctrines of men" you believe about Him. It simply means Jesus saved us from separation from God and we have nothing to do with it. We can just rely ON it because it is true! IOW, stop worrying about your salvation. It is a done deal and there is nothing to worry about.
However, your sanctification will determine what you are BECOMING and that is what you need to be concerned about (and Yes, that involves "works"). But none of it has anything to do with your salvation! That is all Jesus and it is finished! All the discord and nonsense about what beliefs ABOUT Jesus are the correct ones is just that, nonsense!!! Your fate in the afterlife as a "saved Spirit" has always depended on what YOU are BECOMING. That has been obfuscated by all this unnecessary concern over what to believe!

What if one doesn’t rely on Him, doesn’t believe He “saved us from separation from God”? Does that person perish, as Jesus said, recorded in John 3?
If it doesn’t matter what we believe about Jesus, why did the prophets, apostles and Jesus Himself preach salvation in the Messiah?

STILL waiting for your answer to my question. Why does it matter what we call him if our beliefs don't matter?

It will not matter about your SALVATION, but it will determine what you are BECOMING as a "saved Spirit" and that will determine your fate. No one perishes, but those aspects of your Spirit that are evil will be "corrected." In any case, it has nothing to do with what specifics you believe about Jesus and God. That has been a red herring. It is the product of our stupid human concern over what religion to be part of instead of how to BECOME what we are supposed to become.

Regarding perishing, was Jesus misquoted or wrong?
Regarding perishing, was Jesus misquoted or wrong?
He was misunderstood because of their highly conditioned and implacable life-long belief in a wrathful and vengeful God who needed to be appeased by us through sacrifices - OR ELSE!
