Just some surprising folks on that list. However the ones who are surprising are usually the ones who stepped away from JW before they became famous. Wayans bros. for instance.

Okay. Wasn't sure where you were coming from.

Yes, the Wayans brother was a surprise to me.

It has a seat at the table of reason.

And Hanuman agrees with me that there is room for the JWs in our culture, but that they need to tone down their proselytization.

I am surprised the Williams family is JW. Not sure if they no longer are. They seem a very tight knit family. The movie did indicate anything about religion.
Is the rate of leaving their religion higher among JW compared to others who leave theirs?

Hanuman is a devotee of Rama, he holds him in his heart. He is the epitome of bhakti, unquestioned devotion. Reason has nothing to do with devotion. Love does. Hanuman will show you how, you are in good company. Just don’t annoy him.

I'm very familiar with Hanuman from my extensive time in Thailand. To say that reason has nothing to do with devoltion is exactly the mindless aspect of religion that we talk about so often in this forum, and really in this thread, as well. But, thank you for clarifying that you are devoted to your religion not based, whatsoever, on reasoning. And this is what we sometimes see when we read news stories about JWs. Devotion without reason, or without sufficient reasoning.
