And is "right" determined by majority? I think not.

That's good but will you acquire the knowledge you lack or at least become familiar with what knowledge is actually out there that should impact your thinking????

And more fairy stories get posted daily. This is not helping the addicted, this is plain and simple proselytizing.

What they seem to miss is that people CHOOSE to go to AA meetings.

Yes. There are a few different ways to meditation. And this is helpful method. I like the prayer as well.

It is an addiction. Addiction has very little in common with diseases. It is a group of behaviors, and calling it a disease interferes with the understanding of addictions.

Where is the infectious agent, the pathological biological process, or the biologically degenerative condition?

Promulgating addictions as a disease is a concept that needs to stop. Just like we stopped seeing homosexuality as a mental disorder.

Somebody posts something Theism related on a Forum titled "Religion and Spirituality"...and that would certainly figure.
You immediately follow with slams & insults...and continue with such. In my view...you doing that has no redeeming value whatsoever, and is just demonstrative of a biased and miserable mindset.
AA is the most epic and prolific addiction recovery program in the world. Just as Theism is the most epic and prolific concept in human history.
Atheism, on the other hand...not so much. Well...unless it is to get the Adherents to be viewed as low-down...it is epic at that.

You are promulgating the band wagon fallacy. Fallacies have no substance. Don't use them unless you want to be categorized the same way.
