Boy howdy do I know what you mean!

At the same time there are people who sing his praise. Fascinating to see who are those who read these comments entirely different from people like you and I. All one way or another and as consistent as the day is long.

Might it be that people are waking up to what is within us quite different from what we were taught to believe about what was within people from ages ago? Good for you to suggest no one needs a leader to tell you how to live. How I feel about religion generally speaking. Why they call it preaching...

Yes...those that do feel they have been duped, damaged & messed up to whatever degree by Organized Religion and the Deity those Theologies told them of (and then threw out the baby with the bathwater because of it) seem to have the biggest axe to grind.
mordant did not like my getting on his case for things like feeling the need to spout Atheist dogma even relative to those grieving the Sandy Hook shooting.

Even using that as a opportunity to call Theism/Religion and the prayers being offered, "imaginary gods doing nothing or folks spouting uncomforting platitudes."
Some of his stuff was pretty good...but the bashing and insults were typical, and he didn't like what I had to say about that.
