Thanks, ptsum. I thought that I was alone, but I found out that my dear, sister June had tried to reach me...seems she was sitting up with me. Isn't it interesting how the sacred circle keeps our spirits close...

Tonight I will rest knowing that I am not alone.

Many times I wake at nights and go to the prayer thread when I can't sleep to see if anyone needs encouragement or prayer, sometimes I need to be uplifted myself and go there..Now I also have this sacred circle to come to and read the wisdom and feel the compassion here and feel the oneness in the sister?brotherhood here..

And the loneliness disappears the instant we realize just that!
The fun and games and dancing begin when we realize that none of it matters so we are free to enjoy all of it.

Sometimes one needs to sit quietly and listen in order to clear ones mind. Today I sit and listen.

An ancient Indian proverb

Once a grandmother sat down with her grandchild and told the story of the two wolves. She said "My Child know that we each have two hungry wolves that live within us. One stands for peace, love, acceptance, beauty and all that is good. The other stands for hatred, anger, resentment, bitterness and all that is bad. Only one wolf can prevail" The child looked up with question in her eyes, then replied. "But grandmother how do we know which wolf will prevail?" The wise woman said "The one that prevails is the one you feed."

When one sits in the Hoop Of The People, one must be responsible, because all of creation is related, and the hurt of one, is the hurt of all, and the honor of one, is the honor of all, and whatever we do affects everything in the universe.
