"Diversity" which means non whites which means democrat voters is not a given. Non whites are switching faster than Irish, Italian and Polish Catholics who were a solid dem base for 80 to well over 100 years in some places. Those with Mexican ancestry have switched faster than the aforementioned. Bill Clinton had an 18 point advantage with evil white working class folks. Those days are long gone.

Interesting. Yet even still, one of Ohio's largest liberal arts universities is located in Butler County and whose alumni will overwhelmingly serve as a large democratic base. Yet Butler County still consistantly leans red.

Meaningless it has to do with who lives there and votes. Trump won like 63-37. That's not a lean that's destruction.

Is there a particular reason why the local politics are so reliably conservative when everything else about this county would strongly suggest it would be politically competitive/moderate?
It might have been more democrat before democrats waged a war on white folks.

They didn't, but at least the democrats don't have a dictatorial-like candidate who threatens democracy worldwide.
