It was previously known as the Hamilton–Middletown, OH PMSA and was separate from the Cincinnati, OH–KY–IN PMSA until the 1990 Census when the Cincinnati–Hamilton, OH–KY–IN CMSA designation was used to consolidate the two PMSAs2."
Okay you've lost me now. First you say it was included in 1960, now you're saying 1990. Which is it?

And my point about the lack of white flight was in reference to the County's core cities of Middletown and Hamilton. They both have black populations but the white populations of the two never declined as much as either Cincy or Dayton.

Dayton and Cincy have similar racial demographics of roughly 50% white and 40% black. Middletown and Hamilton are about 80% white and 10% black.

You really believe there was no "white flight" in these areas?

Suburban collar counties used to be reliably Republican redoubts outside the invariably Democrat counties hosting the urban area's core city. This is still largely the case in places like the Milwaukee, Indianapolis, Dallas/Ft .Worth, Pittsburgh, Nashville metro areas, to name a few. And apparently it's still the case in metro Cincinnati.

Yes, in terms of poverty, foreign-born population, median value of houses, etc. Where were you looking?

Yes, indeed. Probably the best Dominican Reataraunt around the Cincinnati area is actually in Hamilton. When I was looking up their menu I found they have a location in Middletown as well. I mention this for two reasons: I absolutely love Dominican food from my days of working in Washington Heights in NYC and you cannot have a traditional Dominican Restaraunt in Ohio without a sizeable enough Dominican population to support it.

Really? By most accounts I've read, the Hispanic Americans in Butler County are mostly Mexican, followed by Puerto Rican, then Central American. Dominicans don't even come close.

I always appreciate stats, however, in southwest Ohio the only people eating Dominican restaurants where the menu is in Spanish are a Dominican community of which the restaurant serves. I eat at the restaurant I posted and they are authentic and in Hamilton Ohio which should not have a Dominican restaurant with it's American palatte. I don't think the government is reliable because these guys are likely undocumented.

Rrampage claimed Butler County, OH under-represented the national average in terms of demographics. I showed how they were actually very much on par with the rest of the country in most fields, besides race, though only by a small margin.
