Target's prices in NYC are higher than elsewhere. Go on the Target website, enter a zip code somewhere in the midwest, and shop with lower prices. I'm not even joking.

That is true of most or nearly everything retail in NYC. High rents, CODB and other factors mean prices in city are always higher for tons of things than elsewhere.

You'd be surprised how much cheaper groceries, even daily staples like milk are cheaper in NJ or out on LI.

You cannot compare other areas such as mid-west to NYC or even NYS.

Well for obvious reasons, but I'm not paying $4 for liquid soap no matter where I live

Post COVID phenomenon. Pre-COVID, groceries (in general) could be found cheaper than LI (not sure about NJ).

The Target website thing is wacky. Not sure why they haven't patched it yet. You can literally enter a zip code in the Midwest, add items to your cart, and checkout to your address in NYC and they honor the Midwest prices.

Whether you spend $2 or $4 for soap won't make a difference. How much soap do you go through a year? Are you one of those that drive for a half hour looking to save .20 cents on gas and in the meantime burn through a gallon?

You must only shop at Costco or something. $4 for liquid soap is pretty common, especially for dish detergent like Method.

I use Dr. Bronner's liquid soap as my hand soap in the restroom. Guess 7th would never pay for that.

Yeah Dr. Bronner's is what I used for toothpaste or Tom's of Maine. Not exactly cheap. The soap dries my skin too much, so wouldn't use it.

I'm not judging, everybody has something in particular that they will not skimp on and will pay top dollar for
