WTF are you on about now?

What "slavery"?

These eejits are making $500-$1000 or more per week cash money. Their overhead is low since they're stealing city property (sidewalks, curbs, streets and water from hydrants). Also am willing to bet more than a handful are getting all sorts of bennies because they're "poor" on paper way such persons are.

As for working in a car wash versus this black market gig last time one checked washing cars was always a low wage job, right along with most retail, fast food, etc.... If you can't do better in life than that who's fault is that?

Tell me you didnt watch the video without telling me

The workers liked not having minimum wage because they made tons on tips and had to report less on taxes. Your people screwed them. But hey you know better than the workers i guess.

Exactly!

Only those in say retail or fast food working for minimum wage truly moan; everyone else knows the deal. They make more, often bank in tips so in end it all balances out. More so when tips are in cash and not reported to IRS or anyone else for tax purposes.

At least when they were working on books for mw they could take that income and use it to prove they're "poor" and whatever. Now they're likely working off the books and making bank, but unless they're using clever accounting and reporting some income to government they're screwing the pooch.

No income reported means no SS payments, which if they are citizens or legal residents will come to bite them in the butt when reach retirement age and have nothing in that kitty.

These are also the same people who get burned when trying to apply for "low income" or "affordable" housing and are asked to show papers. Either they cannot prove income at all and or numbers just don't add up and it's clear household income is far more than they're saying.

When they tried to get in on all that free covid money (such as unemployment) state said "fine, show us proof of income". Just like that gig was up.

Lol, so because they like minimum wage, that made it legal all of a sudden to pay them below it

Much more water is used than a car wash since it’s not being recycled. Don’t forget the chemicals going into the storm drains.

Im all for kids/teens/young adults doing this fire hydrant car wash business.

A better spot to post up would be along the park, highway, school yard, etc. But hog a block of parking spots ,thats is a problem.

But the haters on this thread? Oh brother!... i would like to see more sprinklered fire hydrants set up, like on them closed streets, pooless parks, a little spray of water on a blazing hot day, melts the stress away,no?

...and this is why the hood stays hood and most normal people who better their lot even a little bit and are able to get away, run from the hood.

People like you probably also wonder why nice neighborhoods don't want hood people moving in.
