If you knew our district.....ours is not doing well at all. We spend $15k now per student. Yet-in HS, the majority now are on a 5-6 year plan to graduate. Or just drop out. And this is a fairly nice middle class area. What happened to the district I graduated from-no clue. But I know it's not good. Our junior high and high school are again on the "watch" list to be improved. It's been there for the last 8 years. And still no improvement. But Regents is antiquated and needs to go. It's worthless going out of state for college.

Still teetering between MB area and Greenville-may end up somewhere between. We haven't had any luck getting jobs here and after next month-I've no way to pay any bills. I even got turned down at McDonald's. My degree in hospitality and tourism should fit somewhere we go-better than here I hope. Hubby maybe going on a few trips to SC to find a job-live there while I try and sell the house here -we are giving it to the end of another month. I'll be living in my camper before long.

There are not many jobs here now either, especially with the tourist season winding down.

I wish you all the best!

My 20 year old applied to Walmart and Target. Got neither job. Too many others had applied for the same positions.
