The J Edwards can be expensive ... depending on what you order. Here is their menu with pricing. I like their prime rib and friend always orders the Chef's Special. menu
Sara J's you order from the menu (no buffet) and Admiral's Flagship is a seafood buffet. I don't know about Flo's. Many of the Murrells Inlet restaurants have the seafood buffet.
Murrells Inlet has some of the best. That's where a lot of locals go when they go out to eat. It is just south of Garden City. Creek Ratz, Dave's Dockside, Divine Fish House, it just goes on and on. There are several restaurants on the marsh walk. Great food and live music.
I'll add T-Bones in Murrells Inlet to the list. This is not to be confused with T-Bonz, the chain. T-Bones has all you can eat ribs on Wednesdays. The atmosphere is rustic, with all kinds of things hanging around to look at (like so many restaurants do these days). The food is excellent. My husband ordered pork chops one year, expecting one tiny, thin piece of meat and he got two very thick chops. He ended up taking one home for lunch the next day, and he usually has no trouble finishing a meal out.
T-Bones in MI is along Bypass 17 south of the Inlet Square Mall on the right heading south. If you get to where the bypass and business route join back up again just before Brookgreen Gardens then you've gone too far.
As Dawne posted T-Bones with the 's' not the 'z' has good food. If you have been to T-Bones in Lake Wylie it's the same people.
Another place that has good food is Kyoto Restaurant ... it sort of looks like and operates like a fast food joint but the steak, chicken and shrimp bowls are delicious with lots of the special sauce they have. When you leave Springmaid go South on Hwy 17 to the traffic light at Ocean Lakes Campground. Turn right at the traffic light and you are on Hwy 544. A Walmart shopping center will be on the left. Turn into that shopping center and the restaurant is on the left in the strip.
They have a Miyabi Kyoto Japanese Steak House in Murrells Inlet on Hwy 17 we ate there once long ago and the food was good. It's the type of steak house where they do the chop chop pound pound flip it in the air in front of you. LOL
I really appreciate the suggestions!! Thank you everyone.
If I didnt care for the people at this intergroup conference I probably would not go.
It use to be in October when everything is alot warmer but it the fellowship that matters.
Im not thrilled with Springmaid either it needs a major overhaul but oh well make best of situation. Thanks again.
Since you'll be at Springmaid.. you DEFINITELY need to go across the street and witness Market Common! What a place that's gonna be.. and it's right around the corner from my house.. Woo Hooo..
The pork chops may be good, but I found the steaks a little thin and tough.
