Default City paving projects

I see that University loop, Chestnut, Falling Run, and Forrest have gotten paved. However, 8th, 6th, and Sneider are still awaiting surface. Did the city run out of money? I can't believe they have unfinished projects with the students being back in town

Went up 8th St the other day and said the same thing, why do all the milling or whatever its called, only to leave it sit like that unpaved for weeks?

The city apparently will be paving into possibly the first week of October. Apparently they wanted to start earlier but the milling machine was busy up until a couple weeks ago. They also apparently focused on more student heavy roads and then worked their way towards more family neighbor hood type roads, but like I said they are behind due to equipment.

As far as mile ground, apparently easton hill was supposed to be this year but at some point DOH changed completion of easton hill to next year.

This spring they were holding meetings to decide if they'll close Easton Hill for three weeks or keep it open with lane restrictions for 10 weeks for the project in Summer 3017

The company that is doing all the paying for the city is under contract with my neighborhood to have our paving completed no later than the end of September. They started working a month ago and then just up and left after about a week of work. I also noticed they are doing the site prep work for the new BW3 at UTC. I'm thinking they have stretched themselves a little thin.
