Referendum? We ain't got no referendum. We don't need no referendum! I don't have to show you any stinkin' referendum!

Same location just a better stadium, a new outdoor plaza and a couple new parking garages

I believe the dotted oval in the picture is where the current Dome sits. The new stadium looks quite a bit larger and there are other amenities.

My only qualm is that there appears to be a lot of empty space for tailgating that will be sitting empty for all but a few hours 8 days a year...on probably some of the most valuable property in Minneapolis.

This is all that currently sits on the spot designated for tailgating in the new design.

~65,000. College stadiums (i.e. Penn State) are the only football stadiums that go up over 100,000. Looks like the Giants/Jets are the current largest capacity, at a little over 80,000.

I think the trend currently is toward more luxuries and amenities than toward larger crowds. i.e. Bigger spending crowds, rather than just bigger crowds.

You'd be facing a lot of TV blackouts with a 100,000+ person stadium.

I think they could rethink how they decide a blackout if they have a huge stadium. I think a huge stadium would be a big deal for Minneapolis.
