Are your trees leafing out late this year or do they usually leaf out in mid May? In Washington ours were about 2 to 3 weeks behind where they were last year.

Usually by now they are fully leafed out-we are a good month or so behind. It's been a very cold, bad spring. I am usually planing my annuals around now but not this year.

It's always interesting to see how perceptions change once someone moves away from the place they grew up.

My move to Georgia has taught me that Minnesota has flaws, but they pale in comparison to some other parts of the country. Tho I'm not talking about climate.

I love hot hot heat. Bring it on. I love the days where you walk outside and the heat just slaps you. You stand in Flip Flops, shorts and a light T shirt and it feels glorious. Bring it on baby, bring on the sticky skin, sunburn and hot hot heat.

All of the trees have leaves on them. I would say whithin the last week, most of them have leafed out pretty fast. The hot weather last week really helped out. Sadly, my tulips were already blooming last week and the 90 degree heat killed most of them

But yes, other than that, it looks Very green out there now.
