Hi, We are thinking of moving from Queens to Syosset. Most of the elementary schools here offer pre-k program. Do the Elementary schools in Syosset offer Pre-K or is there a universal pre-k program? Thanks in Advance.
There is no pre-k program in the public schools. However there are a number of inexpensive (and expensive) preK programs. My favorite is at the Syosset-Woodbury Town park and is run by the Town of Oyster Bay.
St. Edwards Roman Catholic Church has a program again very affordable, and then there is the program at the Lutheran church also up in the town of Syosset.
There are private programs that are available and the Library has an active program for pre-schoolers (though it is not a pre-k school program)
If you are thinking of coming to Syosset, you will find a program to your liking and to your pocketbook. In this hamlet, education is king.
