The Kentucky wildcats also has the most National championships (11) then any other college basketball team. The birthplace to mauhamed Ali (Louisville,KY). Also Kentucky is the only state to sell the famous ale1 drinks, a soft Ginger ale drank

Wait, wait, wait...

UCLA has 11 national championships. You can fly to Los Angeles to see those banners if you'd like.

UK has seven, placing it second-highest.

Here's a little tidbit most people don't know...
Bishop Alexander Walters, a founding member of the NAACP was born in the kitchen of the Talbott Tavern in Bardstown.

I suppose the Tavern chooses not to mention it in their promotion because his poor Mother was a slave at the time, working right up until the delivery of her child. While it doesn't shine a very attractive light on the Tavern, it is still a significant piece of history, and he was a ground-breaker in the civil rights movement.
