Just to be clear, so your prediction is that none of his initiatives pass?

Some of them won't pass, and some will and fail to help the state or its residents.

Lets raise gas taxes and car fees since taxes aren't already high enough and Chicago doesn't already have among the highest gas prices in the nation. It will be oh so helpful to the working people who have to drive to work. Once again good job Dems!

Ok, I was having a hard time discerning how you define failure. So basically anything Pritzker does is considered a failure, do I have that right?

By the way, you must have a cake job. You’re quite active on this forum all throughout the day and year. Must not be very busy at work.

busy but a lot of the things I do have wait times 5 minute wait for this instrument 30 minute incubation...

If anyone can point to something that JB does that helps the working people of Illinois, reduces the exodus, improves their quality of life etc. I'll call that a success. So far let's raise taxes on drivers, raise income taxes, nothing to control property taxes, nothing to consolidate government and reduce waste, nothing to eliminate nor even reform the pensions and other govt union benefits that fleece the people so the best scenario I see is nothing gets passed to create more misery for the people. I don't expect the people that caused the problems to come up with solutions.

more of the same... I'm sure they'll find a way to blame the evil republicans for their incompetence once again
Did you see in the Trib this am that one of the no votes was given some plum position to get him out of the House? It's disgusting what they do to pass their stuff.

His only regret was that he couldn't spend more.

If I didn’t know any better, I would have guessed he worked for the government.

You are probably too young to remember that the Governor who gave us the income tax was Republican Ogilvie. Voters rewarded him the next election by sending him home and electing (future jailbird) Dan Walker.
