Fortunately there are several members on this forum that have the solutions and hopefully they will run for Governor and straighten things out. We are truly blessed.

There are no solutions. The Dems rung up $250E9 in pension promises and the only solution is some form of bankruptcy. If you don't contribute to your 401k from age 25-64 and want to retire at 65 what is the solution? You better work until you drop dead or make the best of your meager SS check.

Or you become a Democrat and demand the government take money from people who did fund their 401k's to bail you out for your stupidity/entitlement.

"So far none of these big-ticket items have passed both chambers and made it to the governor’s desk. We should also mention Springfield has not yet passed a budget."

more of the same... I'm sure they'll find a way to blame the evil republicans for their incompetence once again

Can we at least wait until they’ve missed the first deadline before deeming it a failure? So many posters just can’t help themselves and are so anxious for the state to fall into deeper despair it seems.

Two things you can always count on, the sun is going to rise and the Democrats are going to scr#w up and fail.
