Sagle forecasted to reach 106 F Tuesday and Wed. Unbelievably hot and unusual.

One thing you can count on all the lakes will be swarmed with folks trying to escape the heat. If there is a ice cream shop it will also be very busy

The same tribes that still burn grass fields every summer?

The same ones who did, but I don’t think they burn the fields anymore.

100 yesterday in Clark Fork. It's supposed to reach 106 Tuesday and Wednesday here, too. We just got back to our place. I can't even look at the bag with sweaters I brought!

Added: I take that back: the forecast has just been scaled back to 104! What a relief. I may need those sweaters
after all!

Was thinking of taking the pups up to Schweitzer's Ski Resort tomorrow and Wednesday. Any idea how much "cooler" it will be up there?

Take a lot of cold water for them.

I learned long ago a dog's OK if his insides are OK. Once they heat up inside that's when the trouble begins.

About 10 degrees F cooler. Guess I'll have to make a trip up there tomorrow and/or Wednesday.
