Last week we were doing a 4th step workshop. We each brought a piece of inventory and put it on the blackboard. We did columns 1 and 2 and the group did column 3.

When we were rapping things up, someone asked why I called the subject of my resentment a hippie. I started to explain that and someone in the group got offended and said it was an "outside issue".

AA is no place to discuss religion and politics, I would agree. But don't we take the gloves off during inventory? Touchy subject either way.
