4.88" of rain here in Tigerville. We had a squall line that came through around 11 AM that was like a hurricane. It rained so hard you could barely see anything. We had just one clap of thunder, but it felt like an earthquake.

If you want to see snow then go to Tennessee. A friend in Knoxville told me they are getting up to 8 inches today and tonight in East Tenn. and the grocery stores were selling out of bread and milk. Ha. Sounds familiar to when there is a threat of snow here.

Some YouTube forecasters are calling for a decent chance of snow in our area next week. Still a bit far out yet to be confirmed. But you all know how forecasting is in our area.

Today ties for 2nd longest streak of no snow at 767 days (NWS GSP sites, previously achieved 767 days in 2013). Longest is 1,042 ending in 1940, which we’d break that record if no snow by November 24th later this year.

I think we can safely say that this streak will keep going. Looks like the Sierra Nevada mountains is taking all of snow this year. (They are expecting 12' today).
