Default Best pictures

Wow, beautiful pictures! I lived in Ft. Lauderdale when I was ages 9-14 and then moved to Atlanta. Those pictures bring back a lot of memories, we used to ride bicycles down Las Olas to the beach and we swam in the old municipal pool across from the ocean and it had salt water! I lived in the Dr. Kennedy homes and a picture is included here. Back in the day it was a small town, we played outside all of the time, there was a guava tree in our backyard, and we would open coconuts on the street and eat them on the sidewalk. Thanks for the pictures!

thanx for ruining a good thing. monetizing everything on the web is a sure way of killing off the fun of surfing.

I along with others post lots of photos on many sites. I am able to offer larger images than the silly small ones here now. I also wish you had given advice on how to use a lighthouse feature that would allow smaller files sizes (thumbnails) with clickable large images.

sometimes advice like yours offered is a detriment to the community at large. remember mrs. kravitz on bewitched?

thanx again

I don't know. I think it was good advice. Good size pictures can be uploaded - no one has to lighthouse them - Wild style's large ones are fine - just max's were full size. When people upload the full-size 1mb+ pics they're giving their work away. My daughter (who's only 16, btw) makes thousands of dollars with her stock photography of Ft Lauderdale. Why shouldn't other good photographers have that opportunity as well? Someone who's aware of that potential who isn't honest could plow through these pic threads all over city-data swiping photos and selling them as their own. There's no copyright here - we're all anonymous.

The blue building is a 42-story high-rise. 333 Las Olas Way.

Beautiful Shots Jacob!
I wonder if I could put these on my new digital frame? Would you be willing to send me the jpeg files? Not for publication or anything, just your beautiful work...
Thanks,
CJ
