Granted sample size and what percentage of high school students in different states take the treat but still not great.

More than four in 10 seniors don't meet any of the ACT's college readiness benchmarks, the testing organization said. These are the minimum scores for predicted success in college courses.

Average scores have been declining for six consecutive years, ACT CEO Janet Godwin said in a statement.
"The hard truth is that we are not doing enough to ensure that graduates are truly ready for postsecondary success in college and career," she said.
Can we knock it off on the culture wars and focus on actually teaching students? Seems like recent years have rolled back all the advances of the Bush and Crist years.

Florida imports many families from other states seeking a lower cost of living because they were priced out in their home state. These lower income families are causing strain on Florida school districts and bringing in students with less preparation, lowering the averages.

LOL

It's pretty well established most of the incoming migration is from higher income families cashing out of higher price/higher tax states like NY and NJ with better schools.

Then why have scores gone down the longer that DeSantis is in office?

Could it be allowing the white supremacists to set curriculum and a curriculum mandate the discourages critical thinking because it might make a ethnic or racial group ‘feel bad’ is starting to shpw negative results in Florida K-12?

Better not look at Baltimore test scores. Baltimore, at statistically zero passing HS, does not teach anything so culture or not is off the table.
