What are the general demographics of the people moving into Florida right now. Age wise? What part of country are they coming from?

white, republican, mostly from the midwest (MO IL IN OH etc), 50s+, love to wear flip flops, have spent way too much time in the sun, think a night out at Outback is a gourmet experience. yeah, that about covers it.

Families and young adults from Northeast and West Coast mostly here in Orlando. So many new amazing restaurants popping up every month.

And they will complain and ask to see the manager if everything is not perfect, lol.

As for the demographics of people moving out of Florida: blacks, LGBT, Democrats, possibly some Hispanics as well.

Yeah, all you gotta do is sit at Tampa International Airport baggage claim and watch the people coming off the planes from Cincinnati and St. Louis. That's the future of Florida right there.

When I lived in Orlando years ago, I would get used to going to a restaurant I really enjoyed, then it would close some months later, that never happened in NY. I used to love The European Cafe in Ormond Beach, I think it's still open after all these years.

If you think Orlando has a restaurant viability problem, Tampa is even worse on that front.

Here today gone tomorrow.

I personally boycott any restaurant that is stupid enough to close on Sundays. Which is to say a lot of Tampa restaurants.

Those are tourists/vacationers, not those that are moving. Very few move with just a suitcase.
