Long as winds are not over 120 i should be ok. Not sure how far away from the center the strongest winds will be.
A mereologist had a wind discussion about that this morning. When they talk about sustained winds, like 110 for a CAT 3, the 110 mph winds go out 10 miles from center and then slow down the further out from the center.

It is gonna be a nothing burger for me as long as it stays 80 or more offshore. I hope i can at least get 8" of rain. But you can never trust these storms norm as it could pull a Charlie 4 hours before landfall.

LK it's going to be right off you around midnight Tues and on into Wed early AM before sun up
I may get some gust to 70mph and i hope lots of rain. I am sure the pow wow will go out around midnite.

But if it pulls a Charlie it is over for me. Peeps can have the wet Vette and soaked telescopes and guns.

I hope you're right....it's surge I'm worried about

wind can move a whole lot of water when it's shallow....keep an eye on it around 12 noon on Wed

Wilma was way north of us....and I watched it completely empty Florida Bay...bone dry

This looks like a small core system and the worst winds well be west of me so it should not pull up a big bowl of water to flood me out. I am 8ft where i am. The no name storm in 1993 flooded most of my hood and came close to my house as the sellers said it was half way up the drive way. I was in Tampa then.

That was a 100mph winds out of the west. I made ice for the Yeti betty incase the pow wow goes out for a day or more.

The streets in all my hood flood in heavy rain but i must be on a hill as they never flood in front of my house.

Worst i saw was when i got 11" in 5 hours from a TS in June of 2012.

Latest projected path moved further west. Cedar Key would be the south. Tallahassee is in the cone of uncertainty.

Is this storm a Gator or a Nole? We’ll find out in about 24/36 hours.
