FLIP FLOP is the key words. Best case for me is 75 miles west of me. Anything Cat3 or higher hitting just north of me and it's over. The gun and pills will be used one day when a CAT5 gets me.

I’m thinking of you LKJ1988. If a Cat 3 hits Citrus County, as some models show, that could be a bad scenario for coastal Pasco.

Kinda like Charlie that was coming to Tampa and everyone went inland and got the worst of the storm. I was living by the Tampa airport in 04 and we got nothing and i was very upset. Not even any rain. That was the day i was to move out and move to Pasco and that closing got put on hold for a week.

It was a very small core system with the worst winds only about 20 miles from the center. I got screwed on Andrew also and got nothing.

I have never yet had winds over 80mph all my life. The worst i got was the no name storm in March of 93 at around 80mph in Tampa.

That would be bad and kinda be like the No name storm that was 100mph on the coast. The peeps i bought the house from said it was half way up the driveway and the hood flooded to the west of my house. I am on a high point at around 10ft.

If you have significant property damage, keep in mind FEMA will provide some assistance so it’s not like you’ll have to cover everything out of pocket. If that gives you some peace of mind.

I should be fine if it stays more than 70 miles west of me.

Hope that it does not do a dramatic change in direction if it becomes a hurricane, and moves dramatically East and then North like last year.
