Since moving to Florida from the Northeast, I always assume everyone I see here is carrying a gun: shoppers in stores, drivers of cars, people in Publix, people waiting to see the doctor.

The state is going way too right wing with guns and now the 6 week abortion ban is going to really anger a lot of people. I fully expect a constitutional amendment on abortion for 2024. It's actually going to hurt republicans who are mainly fiscal conservatives. I did not sign up for this Ted Cruz social conservative BS on Disney, drag queens and gays. All a lot of republicans want is low taxes.

I don’t have any issues with people carrying as is their right, but if I ever found myself in a situation where the area was so dangerous that it necessitated being armed daily, I would be making arrangements to move.
