It's not an article. It's an op-ed with cherry-picked info and highly emotionally-charged rhetoric. The website that published the comment, the Telegraph, is known to have spread misinformation about COVID, where it had to retract a couple of statements in 2019 during the pandemic.

It's not an actual journalistic newspaper but rather, it is a tabloid-style propaganda venue for the right-wing conservative party in the UK.

I'd just like to see the information back, that used to be provided, that the state chose to stop reporting, and was ordered to start reporting again.

The DIAGNOSED cases of COVID that resulted in hospitalization and/or death. Not just how many people died. People who didn't get tested, who didn't get hospitalized, who stayed home, whose cases weren't reported, those people didn't create a burden on the health care system. I want to know how much our health care system was burdened as a result of COVID.
I would also like to know how many have it and are passing it around by being in close proximity to many people, because they don't care. My wife could die from it.

Now burdened healthcare is a major issue to me, as my brother died during the shutdown because the hospitals would not accept him in as a patient at all. At his last visit (One of about 12 tries in just over 2 weeks) they actually gave him some pain medication. He was dead in his bed the next morning. They did not care even though they knew how serious his situation was.

Racer, I am so sorry about your brother. The health care system is under tremendous strain, but that doesn’t excuse the lack of compassion.

The Astrazeneca vaccine isn't available in the US, so I'm not understanding why it has anything to do with Florida.

Of 11,277 people diagnosed with COVID, 210 of them died. That's only around 2%. But of the remaining 11,067 people diagnosed with COVID, how many had to be hospitalized and how many of them were up to date on their vaccines?

I don't know, I have only tracked # of cases and # of deaths in this thread. If you want to find that info, that would be awesome! Here's the website I use: https://floridahealthcovid19.gov/
