Well, if you insist, mutts are my favorite because they're unique. And the pittie mixes are the ones that always manage to become my favorites at the....that unmentionable place.

Oh man that is a hard one. I really do love all dogs. My mini Doxies are my favorite at the moment. But I have a bloodhound who is pretty adorable. My favorite big dogs are Goldens and GSD. My favorite medium dogs are a cocker mix we had when my kids were small. And then there was Buddy a whippet mix. He was such a good boy. He passed away last year on November 7th. The same day my sister died. How ironic!!

Iceland Sheep dog, a rare pure breed, and we want to keep it that way! Actually any of the Spitz breeds are smart, loyal , not so social , and just great dogs.

We own a long coat shepherd and this will be the only breed I will ever own from now on. I've always had shepherds or a shepherd/collie. But this is the dog for me. Our dog Terra is frightening to anyone approaching house but once I tell her the person is OK she is incredibly sweet, even a bit timid. This is a great combination in my opinion as we know the house is protected but don't have to worry about a dog bite. As a bonus she is a great Frisbee dog.

But the most amazing thing is the lack of shedding. I kid you not. I've had shepherds all my life and they constantly shed, as do most dogs. Terra's fur stays on, you can tug on it in mid summer and nothing comes off, until you put a brush to her. Don't let the long fur scare you, she needs no more maintenance than any other dog and less than any dog I've owned.

Boxer!

Although mine is a mix, she looks like a boxer but is the size of a beagle.
