Australian Shepherds all the way...my parents have a Border Terrier which is really cute!

omg hate to be rude but get off your high horse. you cant even respond to a fun question about your favorite breed without pushing how we should all adopt from shelters. i adopt my dogs as well but common. this is why people hate rescues

I grew up with german shepherds (1 of them), shelties (5 of them), peekapoo (lived for 22 years).

I had a Labrador for 17 years. Now I have a beagle basset mix (12 years and going strong).

All my dogs were fantastic. Each breed has its special attributes. I loved and adored them all.

But of all the PESONALITIES, the beagle basset wins hands down. Hounds are amazing.

My breed of choice is the Chihuahua... they may be the smallest but they are great companions!

I didn't take it that way either!! Orion didn't say, and you should too! There's nothing in the post that sounds like being on a high horse.

My favorite breed of dog is the dog that I am taking care of--whether dog sitting, or my own dogs--or the new dog I am meeting. It doesn't really matter to me what breed or mix of breeds!
