Good win for the 'Stros on Tuesday night, 16-9. Altuve almosts gets the cycle. Carter gets two homers. Rubber game later on tonight.

Well, for seven games, it's not really the start anyone would want, but these are young players. They've only got 7 people on their roster that were on last year's opening day roster.
Houston is now 3-6 after taking their series in Seattle. The bats finally got going again, and they pulled it off in a ballpark that usually favors pitchers. On, now, to Anaheim against the Los Angeles Angels as they complete their first round of games against their new division rivals. It's Norris versus Hanson tonight.
I can't wait to see what Laird does up here after the sensational spring he had. Now the Astros get to come home and try to win some games at Minute Maid.

Well, now, Oakland is red hot. The end result of the last two games, if nothing else, were close and Houston tried to rally back in both of them, especially the one after Norris got beaten up, but came up short.
Nice win for Houston on Wednesday, and the bats came alive for their 10-3 win over Seattle. Native Houstonian Robbie Grossman has added some excitement to the lineup while replacing Justin Maxwell for a little bit. I like the guy. If he blossoms consistently, then look out.

Now the 'Stros go to Fenway for the weekend.
Yeah, we finally got some innings by the starter, Harrel. Our bullpen can't continue to go 4-5 innings each game. I personally despise pitch counts.
The Boston series was like Groundhog Day (the movie). I tuned in mid-game... 7-2... Next day, 7-3... Next day, 8-3... One game seemed to replay itself every day.
9-1 over the Yankees tonight was a refreshing change.
