Time for a new beautiful 35 story convention center hotel downtown next to the Oncenter! Improve the Syracuse skyline and solve the hotel room shortage all in one project.
The owner of the Crowne Plaza, one of Syracuse’s largest and best known hotels, is planning to transition the property into a residential apartment building.
The plan would convert the 277-room hotel into a building with 287 residential units.

I don’t know if Downtown necessarily needs a 35 floor hotel, which would dominate the skyline and the fact the Inner Harbor area has plenty of room to build hotels. It would help connect Downtown, Franklin Square/the Inner Harbor and Destiny USA, etc. Let alone the possibility of adding more hotels near the Erie Boulevard East corridor. So, there is room just within city limits for more hotels rooms.
We already have a bike trail from Albany to Buffalo, how about a state funded bike trail from the Thousand Islands to Watertown to Syracuse area to Cortland to Binghamton.

That is a good idea and I’m surprised it doesn’t exist already, as there is a trail from the Thousand Islands to Niagara Falls. It would likely follow Route 11.
Remove all blight, all litter, all junkyards, and all eyesores
Why is this important?
Negative energies need a place to live to have a foothold into the physical world.
Mold, parasites, human waste, decay, clutter, litter, blight, junkyards, and dust are some of the ways Negative energies can find a home in your environment.
This is proven based on my experience. Life and good luck improve in a clean environment.

The thing is that this is getting done to some degree and the junkyard aspect will likely just bl be moved elsewhere.
