I remember feeling very resentful back in 1969 that I could be drafted to fight and die in Viet Nam but it was illegal for me to go into a bar and have a drink. It still makes no sense to me.
As always, you nailed it. You're up!

Thanks ElkHunter, the next round is on me. The next question is along these lines: When and where was the first legal distillary built in Wyoming?

Hint: Its more recent then you might think.

Note: I corrected the spelling of distillery above.

That is Correct ElkHunter. Good Job! Nice movie too. Your turn.

I'm looking forward to tasting the product. Sadly it may be awhile.

KIRBY, Wyo., July 4, 2009 -- Wyoming Whiskey, Inc. announced the start
of bourbon production at its new distillery in the Big Horn Basin.

The distillery is the first legal bourbon distillery in the history of Wyoming
and is set to produce handcrafted bourbon under the direction of Bourbon Hall of Famer Steve Nally using only ingredients from the great state of Wyoming.

"The Big Horn Basin has everything you need to make great bourbon, from corn grown in Thermopolis, wheat from Meeteetse and barley from Riverton to water from the artisanal, limestone wells in Worland," said Founder and Chief Executive Officer Bradford Mead.

Production began July 4, but because no one has made a whiskey in an environment equal to Wyoming (arid at high elevation), Defazio said, they can’t be sure when the bourbon will be done with aging process.

Best guess is two-to-six years, an estimation that inspires another Defazio slogan: “It will be good and ready when it’s good and ready,” he said. JHW

That makes the estimated date between July 4, 2011 and 2015.

I worked for years around the Pitchfork ranch west of Meeteetse and never heard of the Great Arrow. It is stone structure built of rocks, 58 foot long, 5 feet across at the head of the arrow. It points towards the Medicine Wheel in the Bighorns.

The Boars Tusk. 3.1 million years old found in Sweetwater county located in the Leucite hills. Volcanic necks are plugs that have cooled and the calderas have eroded away leaving the hardened plug, Devils tower being the most famous & most photographed in the US. Great question Poletop
