My favorite thus far was at a Wendy's I visited while on a high school youth group several years back. It was a message about drunk driving on one of those mass-printed, paper mats they put on your trays. I quote..."It's you're biggie night..."
Friends of ours sent out home made graduation party invitations for their daughter. The first line was: Your invited!
A recent episode of Fringe identified one scene as taking place in "Manhatan", New York. This is a prime-time Fox network series! Isn't the network based in Manhattan?
Even if the show is made in LA, they could get the spelling from Manhattan Beach, south of the city.
Just saw one on the way home from work today. We're in for a snowstorm (just looked out and it has begun), so there was one of those vehicles with the digital sign on the street outside my train station. It said, "No Parking on this Road Durning the Snowstorm! Towing at Owner's Expence."
I think the only thing worse than misspelling in ads is the incorrect use of quotation marks--because the user seems to think it's a way of highlighting some quality. Example: "Fresh" Vegetables. (If I see "fresh" in quotation marks, I am definitely not buying any of those vegetables!)
Stopping at your typical gas station/convenience today there was a sign taped to the broken ATM:
Not working, sorry for any incovience.

It makes me want to shoot someone. No. really.
I am going to have some stickers made up that read.... "This sign corrected courtesy of the grammar police", and take my Sharpie® brand marker and FIX the signs I see.
I work for a hospital and we have a daily newsletter that is emailed/posted for everyone to see. Now this is a hospital, so presumably, most people are literate, and certainly the writer of the newsletter should be literate. Yet EVERY SINGLE TIME they want to congratulate some department, they say, "hat's off to..." It makes me want to scream! At some point, I will probably have to write them and complain...but thousands of people read this newsletter and apparently it hasn't bothered anyone else...

It might not do any good. We get a daily email with links to open scanned copies of articles that mention my employer or events that affect us. The title to the link is the actual headline from the newspaper article...and the person in Public Affairs who is typing the headline into the link must be suffering from intense brain damage. There are typos and misspellings every single day...mind you, he or she is COPYING word for word what the headline title is. I called someone I know in the department and said something. It was better for a couple of weeks, and now it's back to the horrible errors. A recent example is "Watching the World Whiz Buy".
Saw a new one today in the comments section after an online newpaper article. Someone posted something about getting a "pad on the back."
I pictured someone with a peel-and-stick Maxipad stuck to his shirt between the shoulder blades.
