Ohhhhh.... I know we're not supposed to let misspellings bother us, but sometimes they're just funny as hell. I think it's been fixed now that we have a new airport terminal, but for years the the ramp in front of the old terminal had a warning painted on the tarmac in four-foot-tall letters: AUTHORIZED PERSONAL ONLY. I finally mentioned it to the airport manager. He rolled his eyes and shook his head, but the sign wasn't changed.

And then there was the huge billboard along I-90 just outside Mitchell, SD for a local mechanic. In giant letters so nobody could miss it: TOE SERVICE. I worked in Mitchell for about 6 months and met the owner of the shop. I mentioned the sign and the spelling of T-O-E. He just looked at me like I was nuts. *shrugs*

OK, just came across a lovely new sign in the window of a convenience store/deli near my home.

One of my favorites was on a real estate listing. It advertised a lovely property, complete with coy pond.

Yay! Another Grammar Nazi. I too don't like misspelling. That is why I can't understand texts so much. Now we have so many abbreviations for things people don't know how to actually spell something. I hate having to decipher a text like it's a tablet from Mesopotamia.

At least, the pond is not bold and brazen. LOL

Oh, I'm sorry. The pond is not coy. It's just a little shy. LOL

I think that "creme" belongs on the list, too. I, personally, am not the least bit interested in snacking on "creme-filled" cookies.
