I make typos left and right when I post from my iPad or phone. I typed the word "hoepital" instead of hospital this past week, but no one said anything. Typos and spelling errors are not the point for me, it is when they make something funny without trying that makes me laugh.

I still get a chuckle when I think of the post someone posted here about the "curves above and below the waste".

That's hilarious, redbird!

Here's one I saw in a recipe: Italian Bread Crum's

When I am learning a language, I'm actually grateful when someone corrects me.

I am also grateful when someone corrects me in my native language (except my sister who does it derisively). I'm weird, though; most people don't like being corrected. I know people judge you on how well spoken you are.

Not sure if this fits the thread title, but wth, I started it. Talked to my brother today who is just as nuts about spelling and grammar as me. He was out in the field on a project and to save time scanned his hand written notes into an email for an engineer to review. The engineer replied: I do not respond to cursive writing.

What a maroon, maybe even an ultra-maroon.

Hugh Mockery played third base for the Toledo Mud Hens, didn't he?

Note that you're only one who was shocked here, lol
The phone and tablet typing problem is why I don't bring those things here unless they end up being funny.
This...."The engineer replied: I do not respond to cursive writing." ...makes me extremely sad. I have to wonder who is going to be able to read the billions of old handwritten documents in another generation or two.
